Band Members
Dana
Dana is Cyren's sassy lead singer. She started singing in middle school when she auditioned for a performing arts school in Brooklyn, NY and has been singing ever since. Her family is full of musicians and she's got an eclectic background, but rockin' in a band and having fun with the audience are her favorite things to do. She loves powerful singers from Pat Benatar to Pink!
Scott
Scott has been playing guitar for over 40 years. He spent his formative years in L.A. and has shared the stage with such artists as Greg Allman, Train, The Spin Doctors, Roger McGuinn and many more. He has performed in a variety of bands ranging from alternative to folk and everything in between.
Jen
Jen started singing and playing piano at a young age and is happiest making music with other people! Jen’s musical experiences stem from her North Carolina roots and influences include groups with tight, complex vocal harmonies. Jen loves to create music in a variety of genres – from classic rock to jazz to folk - and is thrilled to make music with Cyren.
Bill
Cyren's main back bone and driving the beat all night is Bill. He has been a percussionist since he was 11. His inspirations include Stewart Copeland (Police), Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac) and Animal (Sesame Street). Bill’s experience consists of: drum corps, orchestra, marching band, Polynesian, country, pop and rock. His favorite type of music is anything with a beat.
Ron
Ron has always had a fascination with music and the bass. He listened to hours and hours of music as a kid while traveling the country with his parents . They exposed him to many different type of music, from rock and pop to funk and jazz. The great bass lines in any of these genres is what got Ron hooked. Cyren's music is as diverse as his early inspirations, which makes him a great addition to the band!
